Christmas Tablescape

 A simple tablescape,
adds colour and charm to the
Christmas Season.
The dishes below are the traditional
"Holly and Ivy" pattern.
I've had for many years.
The silverware is from Walmart, last year.

 Vintage thumbprint cranberry
glass dessert dishes

Salt and pepper... I received as a gift last year.

A collage of the plates below.
Three of the plates are newer.
I only have one of two of each.
They adds variety to the table
and great for serving breads, cakes etc.

The one below, I bought at HomeSense last year,
made in England by Johnson Brothers.

"The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In the hopes that Saint Nicholas soon would  be there"

Christmas Tree In Shades Of Pink

This year I decorated my Christmas
 tree in shades of pink.
Most baubles and ornaments
are vintage that I have
collected over the years.
I dedicate this tree to my sister Judith
who passed away last month from cancer.

I I put
I've had this tree for 10 yrs.
It is not a pre-lit tree and very messy.
I put some  pink, yellow and white lights that I had on hand,
along with quilt batting to hide the dark wires.
Thanks to my sister Annie who helped me decorate this tree.
Vintage Baubles
I store them in an old hat box.

Angel Wings

I made this Christmas craft to
decorate my Christmas tree this year.
I am decorating my Christmas
tree in shades of pink.

My youngest sister, Judith
passed away on Oct 19th. from cancer.
Since she is not with us this Christmas,
I thought this would be a way to honour
her and think of her at Christmas time.

Made some with music note paper,
added some glitter and a bow.

Angel Wings in a row
I made some in silver glitter paper also
with a tassel glued on

3 different types ~ 14 in all

My sister Ann made these" breast cancer awareness"
ribbons to hang on the tree

Hanging as a garland ~ in the "blue hour"

On the tree.

Supplies available at the Dollarstore.
glitter paper and music sheets
